Todas las cosas me son lícitas, mas no todas convienen; todas las cosas me son lícitas, mas yo no me dejaré dominar de ninguna.

1 Corintios 6:12

Como cristianos nacidos de nuevo, debemos de pedirle a Dios que haga habitar en nosotros su Espíritu Santo  o sea la vida resucitada de Cristo, para así tener esperanza de que Jesús en nosotros viva su Santidad y no permita que nuestro cuerpo mortal sea tropezado de nueva cuenta por el pecado. Cuando el Apóstol Pablo reconoce que no todas las cosas convienen, y que no quiere dejarse dominar de ninguna, El sabía también, que lo que es imposible para el hombre natural de naturaleza Adanica pecadora, Dios lo puede transformar en la obediencia de Cristo por Su Espíritu Santo habitando en nuestros cuerpos; sabiendo que nuestro viejo hombre pecador fue crucificado con Cristo Jesús en la Cruz del Calvario (Romanos 6:1-11).  Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece (Filipenses 4:13) esto significa que si estamos por el Amor del Padre en los brazos de Jesús, Él siempre estará obrando su Santidad en nosotros y también en Él recibiremos la vida eterna por causa de Su obediencia derramada en nuestra vida delante de Dios su Padre. (Hebreos 13:20-21).

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1 Corinthians 6:12

As born again christians, we must ask God that His Holy Spirit may dwell in us, that means, the resurrected life of Christ so that we may have the hope that Jesus in us may live His Holiness and allows us that our mortal body may be encountered again by sin. When Apostle Paul recognizes that not all the things are convenient and that he did not want to be dominated by any, he also knew that what is impossible for the man that comes from the Adamic sinful nature, God can transform to Christ’s obedience by His Holy Spirit dwelling in our bodies, knowing that our sinful old man was crucified with Christ Jesus on the cross at Calvary (Romans 6:1-11). I can do everything with Christ who strenghtens me (Philippians 4:13), this means that if we are for the Love of the Father in the arms of Jesus, He will always be working His Holiness in us and also in Him we will receive eternal life because of His obedience shed in our life before His Father (Hebrews 13:20-21).

Porque aunque tengáis diez mil ayos en Cristo, no tendréis muchos padres; pues en Cristo Jesús yo os engendré por medio del evangelio. Por tanto, os ruego que me imitéis.

1 Corintios 4:15-16

Es importante que aprendamos acerca de la necesidad de caminar como familia cuando nos entregamos a Nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. El Apóstol Pablo, durante su ministerio, hablo de la importancia de tener un padre en la fe y de ser un hijo cuando nos entregamos a Jesús. La relación padre e hijo en la fe en Cristo Jesús, provocará caminar en familia y poder seguir las huellas de quienes nos han engendrado por medio del Evangelio. Un padre en la fe, deberá instruir a sus hijos en el Evangelio y provocar que ellos deseen imitar su fe. El joven Timoteo del que nos habla la Santa Biblia fue un hijo amado y fiel en el Señor para el Apóstol Pablo y siguió sus pasos aún después de su muerte y pudo alcanzar muchas personas para Cristo y el Reino de los cielos. Así que, hoy debemos meditar a quién estamos escuchando como nuestro maestro en la fe y preguntarnos si el puede ser nuestro padre a quien podemos imitar en su fe pues es necesario que así sea. Amén.

For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

1 Corinthians 4:15-16

It’s important to learn about the need to walk as family when we surender to Our Lord and Saviour Jesuschrist. Apostle Paul, during his ministry talked about the importance of having a father in the faith and being a son when we surender to Jesus. The relationship father and son in the faith in Christ Jesus, will make us walk in the family so we could follow the footsteps of the people that gave us life through the Gospel. A father in the faith will have to intruct his children in the Gospel and make them want to imitate his faith. The Young Timothy the Bible talks about was loving and faithful in the Lord for Apostle Paul and followed his steps even after his death and he could reach many people for Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. So today we must meditate to whom we are listening as our teacher in the faith and ask ourselves if he could be our father to whom we can imitate in his faith because it is necessary. Amen.

Hasta esta hora padecemos hambre, tenemos sed, estamos desnudos, somos abofeteados, y no tenemos morada fija. Nos fatigamos trabajando con nuestras propias manos; nos maldicen, y bendecimos; padecemos persecución, y la soportamos.

1 Corintios 4:11-12

La carrera de una vida cristiana aquí en la tierra, estará muchas veces llena de pruebas y situaciones que Dios permite que enfrentemos para fortalecer nuestra fe. No creamos que el Apóstol Pablo vivió una vida tranquila o sin tribulaciones, puesto que hemos leído que hasta fue abofeteado y se fatigó trabajando con sus propias manos para no llegar a ser carga de nadie. Quizá tú estás padeciendo en estos momentos persecuciones y estás atravesando por una prueba de tu fe que te permitirá poner la mirada en los cielos y mirar que tu socorro viene del Dios Todopoderoso de Israel, al creer en su Hijo Jesucristo y al recibir en tu corazón su Espíritu Santo. Recuerda que todo obra para bien a los que aman a Dios (Romanos 8:28).  El amor de Dios se mostrará sobre tu vida una vez más y te dará la victoria en Cristo Jesús Señor Nuestro si tú lo crees. Aleluya!

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it.

1 Corinthians 4:11-12

The career of a christian life on earth many times will be full of situations and trials that God allows us to face to strenghten our faith. Let us not believe that Apostle Paul lived a quiet life without tribulations, because we have read that he even got buffeted and got fatigued working with his own hands so that he could not become a burden to anybody. Maybe you are suffering in this moment persecutions and you are going through a test of faith that will allow you to put your eyes to the heavens and look that your help comes from the Almighty God of Israel, believing in His Son Jesuschrist and to receive His Holy Spirit in your heart. Remember that all works well for the ones that love God (Romans 8:28). The love of God will show over your life one more time and He will give you victory in Christ Jesus Our Lord if you believe it. Hallelujah!

Porque ¿quién te distingue? ¿o qué tienes que no hayas recibido? Y si lo recibiste, ¿por qué te glorías como si no lo hubieras recibido?

1 Corintios 4:7

Toda la Palabra de Dios escrita en la Santa Biblia, nos habla acerca de prevenir egoísmo, soberbia, codicia, ingratitud en nuestros corazones. El Apóstol Pablo nos hace énfasis en este versículo, en el hecho de reconocer que todo lo que somos o tenemos, lo hemos recibido de Dios Padre de su amor y su gracia en nosotros, los que hemos creído en su Hijo Jesucristo. Él entregó su vida como sacrificio vivo en la cruz del calvario para pagar el precio por todos nuestros pecados y evitar que siguiéramos separados de Dios su Padre. También su resurrección nos ha regalado la vida resucitada de Jesus en los corazones de todos los cristianos nacidos de nuevo y por lo tanto recibiremos también la vida eterna en los cielos con Dios Padre, con nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo y con el Espíritu Santo. Así que nunca pensemos de que algo proviene de nosotros, pues todo es de Dios y para Dios. Aleluya!

For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?

1 Corinthians 4:7

All Word of God that is written on the Holy Bible talks to us about preventing selfishness, pride, greed, ingratitude in our hearts. Apostle Paul makes a statement in this verse, on the fact of acknowledging that all that we are or have we have received it from God the Father from His love and His grace in us, and we who have believed in His Son Jesuschrist. He gave His life as a living sacrifice on the cross at Calvary to pay the price for all our sins and to avoid that we should keep apart from God His Father. Also His resurrection has given us the resurrected life of Jesus in the hearts of all born again christians and so we will receive eternal life in heaven with God the Father, with our Lord and Saviour Jesuschrist and with the Holy Spirit. So let us not think that something comes from us, because all is God’s and for God. Hallelujah!

Así, pues, tengan los hombres por servidores de Cristo, y administradores de los misterios de Dios. Ahora bien, se requiere de los administradores, que cada uno sea hallado fiel.

1 Corintios 4:1-2

Somos cristianos nacidos de nuevo y estamos sirviendo como fieles administradores de los misterios de Dios? Esto nos ordena  el Espíritu Santo a través del Apóstol Pablo en las Sagradas Escrituras, exhortándonos y requiriéndonos que como administradores seamos fieles. Quizá hasta el día de hoy tú pensabas que ser cristiano consistía en recibir de Dios todo lo que tú necesites para vivir alegre o feliz y contento hasta el día de tu partida a los cielos. (Eso es ser un cristiano carnal) Pero ahora leemos que esto no es lo que Dios nos demanda y requiere de nosotros los hijos de Dios, y por lo tanto el cristianismo no se trata solamente de recibir y beneficiarse de nuestra relación con Dios pues requiere también ser fieles administradores. El Apóstol nos está demandando en esta carta a servir a todos pero sobre todo a los hermanos en la fe, de manera que muchas personas se reconcilien con Dios y se salven de una muerte eterna. Dios nos ha dado su Espíritu Santo y lo ha hecho habitar en cada uno de nosotros los cristianos que hemos nacido de nuevo. Ahora es necesario que seamos generosos y demos por gracia lo que hemos recibido por gracia para no sentirnos saciados o ricos y tristemente olvidarnos de quién hemos recibido todo. Te animo a meditar en 1 Corintios 4 (todo el Capítulo) para que puedas conocer si te proclamas cristiano la responsabilidad de ser hallado un administrador fiel para Dios el día que te presentes delante de Él en los cielos. Aleluya.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

1 Corinthians 4:1-2

We are born again christians and are we serving as faithful administrators of God’s misteries? This is what the Holy Spirit commands us through Apostle Paul in the Holy Scriptures, exhorting and requiring us that as administrators we should be faithful. Maybe until today you were thinking that being a christian was to receive from God all that you need to live happy until the day of your departure to heaven. (That is being a christian on the flesh). But now we read that this is not what God demands and requires from us the children of God and so christianism is not only receiving and getting a benefit of our relationship with God because it also requires to be faithful administrators. Apostle Paul is demanding in this letter to serve everybody but above all to the brothers in the faith, so that many people reconcile with God so that they get salvation from an eternal death. God has given us His Holy Spirit and has made Him dwell in each one of us born again christians. Now it is necessary to be generous and give grace from the grace we have received, so that we can not feel full or rich and sadly forget from whom we have received everything. I encourage you to consider 1 Corinthians 4 (all the chapter) so that you can know if you proclaim yourself christian the responsability to be found a faithful administrator for God the day that you present yourself before Him in heaven. Y otra vez: El Señor conoce los pensamientos de los sabios, que son vanos. Así que, ninguno se gloríe en los hombres; porque todo es vuestro: y vosotros de Cristo, y Cristo de Dios.

1 Corintios 3:20-21, 23

Dios conoce aún los pensamientos de todos nosotros  también los de los sabios que son vanos( inútiles, sin valor ni propósito de bien). Así que, Dios aborrece al que se gloría en los hombres y no en Dios, en sus propios pensamientos humanos (la sabiduría de este mundo) y no en la sabiduría de lo Alto. Dios declara también que la sabiduría de este mundo es animal, terrenal y diabólica, (Santiago 3:15) y por lo tanto nadie podrá agradar a Dios sin rendir plenamente su vida y sus pensamientos. Dios nos manda de acuerdo a su Palabra a reconocer que todos los que creen en Jesús y caminan en su propósito, le pertenecen a Él y aún Cristo es de Dios.  Por lo tanto, pidámosle hoy a Dios que Cristo en nosotros deseche todo razonamiento y argumento que impida tener un encuentro personal y real con Él. Si nos llamamos cristianos e hijos de Dios, no estamos supuestos a razonar y a argumentar su Palabra a través de la Biblia; sino a rendirnos y entregarnos para que sus pensamientos, su Espíritu y corazón nos lleven a la obediencia de Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria. Aleluya.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your’s; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

1 Corinthians 3:20-21, 23

God even knows all our thoughts and also of the wise that are worthless, with no use or purpose of doing well. So God hates the ones that glorify in men and not in God, in his or her own human thoughts (the wisdom of this world) but not in the wisdom that come from the Highest. God also declares that the wisdom of this world is animal, earthly and diabolic (Santiago 3:15), and so nobody can please God without fully rendering his or her life and toughts. God demands us to acknowledge that everybody that believe in Jesus and walk in his or her purpose, they belong to Him and even Christ is from God. So, let us ask today to God that Christ in us can throw away all argument and reasoning that stops us from having a personal and real encounter with Him . If we call ourselves christians and children of God we are not supposed to reason and have an argument on His Word through the Bible but to surender and deliver ourselves so His thoughts, His Spirit and heart could take us to obedience to Christ in us our hope of Glory. Hallelujah.

Nadie se engañe a sí mismo; si alguno entre vosotros se cree sabio en este siglo, hágase ignorante, para que llegue a ser sabio. Porque la sabiduría de este mundo es insensatez para con Dios; pues escrito está: Él prende a los sabios en la astucia de ellos.

1 Corintios 3:18-19

Cuando venimos a Cristo, Dios nos demanda dejar toda nuestra vida ante la cruz y eso incluye nuestra sabiduría y entendimiento humano, porque para Él son necedad ( 1 Corintios 1:18-21). Quiere decir que sobre todo conocimiento de este mundo estará siempre la Palabra de Dios que es viva y eficaz y que puede rescatar y salvar nuestras vidas del pecado y de la condenación eterna, por lo tanto el Apóstol Pablo siempre procuró que su predicación estuviera llena del amor, la gracia y la misericordia de Dios, llena del poder del Espíritu Santo y exenta de palabras persuasivas de humana sabiduría. Y esto lo hacía para que la fe de todos los creyentes no estuviera fundada en la sabiduría de los hombres sino como mencionamos antes en el poder de Dios (1 Corintios 2:4-5). El Apóstol Pablo también reconoció, que era imposible hablar con la sabiduría de Dios entre cristianos inmaduros puesto que solamente aquellos que estuvieren realmente convertidos y rendidos a Jesús iban a poder entender su predicación. El Apóstol Pablo dio por basura toda la sabiduría de este siglo o sea desde Adán y hasta la última persona que nazca y muera en esta tierra si no se han rendido y han recibido la sabiduría de Dios.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:18-19

When we come to Christ, God demands us to leave all our life on the cross and that includes our wisdom and human understanding, because for Him is foolishness (1Corinthians 1:18-21). It means that over all knowledge of this world, there will be always the Word of God that is alive and effective and that it can rescue and save our lives from sin and eternal condemnation, so Apostle Paul always tried that his preaching was full of love, grace and the mercy of God, full of the power of the Holy Spirit and free of persuasive words of human knowledge. And he did this so the faith of all believers was not based on the human wisdom, but as we mentioned before, on the power of God (1Corinthians 2:4-5). Apostle Paul recognized that it was impossible to talk with the wisdom of God between inmature christians because only those that were really converted and rendered to Jesus they were going to understand his preaching. Apostle Paul gave for trash all the wisdom of this century, that means that from Adam until the last person that is born and dies on this earth, if he or she has not rendered and has receive the wisdom of God .

¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros? Si alguno destruyere el templo de Dios, Dios le destruirá a él; porque el templo de Dios, el cual sois vosotros, santo es.

1 Corintios 3:16-17

Es necesario saber que somos templo de Dios y que su Espíritu vive en nosotros, cuando hemos recibido a Jesús como nuestro Rey Señor y Salvador. Dios manda su Espíritu Santo a habitar en nosotros con la esperanza de rendir el trono de nuestra voluntad a Él. Nadie puede tocar ni atentar contra el Templo (nuestra propia vida), porque Dios le destruirá a quien lo intente. Porque el Templo de Dios Santo es, y hace referencia al corazón de todos aquellos cristianos nacidos de nuevo. Dios no quiere que por los problemas de este mundo y por rechazar su amor infinito, nosotros atentemos en contra de nuestra vida; sea en forma física o espiritual pues como hemos leído, Dios actúa de manera drástica en contra de esa acción.  ¿Quién podrá entonces prevalecer en medio de un mundo de odio, agresión, soberbia y falto de perdón?  Será solamente aquel que haya decidido recibir a Cristo como su Señor y Salvador, y permita que el Espíritu Santo de Dios venga a habitar en el. No hay otra manera, entendámoslo bien hoy pues solo en Cristo hay esperanza de gloria y salvación eterna.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

It is necessary to know that we are temple of God and that His Spirit lives in us, when we have received Jesus as our King, Lord and Saviour. God sends His Holy Spirit to dwell in us with the hope to surrender the throne of our will to Him. Nobody can touch or attempt against the Temple (our own life), because God will destroy the person who tries it. Because the Temple of God is and refers to the heart of those born again christians. God does not want that because for the problems of this world and for rejecting His endless love, we can attempt against our lives, phisically or spiritually, because as we have read, God behaves in a drastic way against that action. Who could prevail in the midst of a world with hate, violence, pride and lacking of forgiveness? It will totally be someone that has decided to receive Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour and that he or she will allow that the Holy Spirit would come to dwell in him ir her. There is no other way, let us understanding it well, because only in Christ there is hope of glory and eternal salvation.

Y el Dios de esperanza os llene de todo gozo y paz en el creer, para que abundéis en esperanza por el poder del Espíritu Santo.

Romanos 15:13

Dios nos ha dado en su Hijo Jesús la esperanza de Gloria, de gozo, de amor y de paz para todos aquellos que en Él creen (Colosenses 1:26-27). El amor de Dios ha provisto de su justicia que es Cristo, para salvación a toda persona que renuncie a este mundo de pecado, de egoísmo, de caos y que hayan confesado a Jesús como su Señor y Salvador. Todos los que hemos nacido de nuevo en Cristo Jesús,  sabemos que solamente en Él vamos a poder mantener nuestra paz y tener la esperanza de ser salvos y de gozar de una eternidad en los cielos. Quizá tú pienses que existen otras formas de alcanzar salvación eterna pero la Biblia nos enseña que Él es el único camino la Verdad y la Vida (Juan 14:6). Si hoy te decides a creer en su nombre, en su sacrificio en la cruz del calvario y en el poder de su resurrección, entonces tú recibirás por gracia el poder de su Espíritu Santo para que habite en tu corazón toda la plenitud y la santidad de Nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo para gozar de una vida nueva.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

God has given us in His Son Jesus, the hope of Glory, of joy, love and peace for all those that believed in Him ( Colossians 1:26-27).The love of God has provided us of His justice that is Christ, for salvation to all people that give up this world of sin, selfishness and chaos, and that they had confessed Jesus as his or her Lord and Saviour. Everybody that has been born again in Christ Jesus know that only in Him are going to mantain our peace and will have the hope to be saved and to be joyful to live an eternity in heaven. Maybe you think there are other ways to reach eternal salvation but the Bible teaches us that He is the only way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). If you decide today to believe in His Name and His sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary and the power of His resurrection,  then you will receive by grace the power of His Holy Spirit so that He may dwell in your heart all the fullness and holiness of our Lord and Saviour Jesuschrist to be joyful to live a new life.

Andemos como de día, honestamente; no en glotonerías y borracheras, no en lujurias y lascivias, no en contiendas y envidia, sino vestíos del Señor Jesucristo, y no proveáis para los deseos de la carne.

Romanos 13:13-14

Caminar de día, significa vivir bajo la luz de la Palabra de Dios y permitir  que ella habite en nuestro corazón por medio del Espíritu Santo de Dios. Solamente la vida nueva y resucitada de Cristo en nosotros, nos podrá librar de nuestra adicción a pecar que está o estaba en el viejo hombre que fue crucificado en Cristo Jesús para que ahora nuestro cuerpo mortal ya no sirva más al pecado pues se lo hemos entregado a Jesús, como el Templo para su Espíritu. (Romanos 8:1-3). Solamente la gracia de Dios que proviene por la justicia para vida eterna que Cristo pagó por nosotros, puede librarnos de la vida de transgresión y pecado en que vivíamos.

Vestirnos del Señor Jesucristo y ya no proveer para los deseos de nuestra carne, es reconocer que por nosotros mismos no podemos ser buenos ni hacer su voluntad pero, si Él habita en nosotros su Santidad nos apartará de una vida que no agradaba a Dios de la cual todos venimos.

 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. ¹⁴ Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. 

Romans 13:13-14

Walking in daylight means living under the light of the Word of God and allow that it may dwell in our heart through the Holy Spirit of God. Only the new and resurrected life of Christ in us can make us free from our adiction to sin that is or was in the old man that was crucified in Jesus Christ so that now our mortal body does not serve more to sin, because we have delivered this to Jesus, as Temple for His Spirit (Romans 8:13). Only the grace of God that comes for justice for eternal life that Christ paid for us can free us of a life of transgression and sin in which we lived.

To dress from Lord Jesuschrist and not provide for the desires of our flesh, is to acknowledge that by ourselves we can not be good nor to do His will, but if He dwells in us, His Holiness will take us apart from a life that did not please God from which we all come from.
