Pero desecha las cuestiones necias e insensatas, sabiendo que engendran contiendas. Porque el siervo del Señor no debe ser contencioso, sino amable para con todos, apto para enseñar, sufrido.

Cambiador del mundo: Recordemos lo que dice el libro de Proverbios «El que anda con sabios, sabio será, más él que se junta con necios, será destruido» (Proverbios 13:20). Por lo tanto el Apóstol Pablo le encomienda a Timoteo y a todos los cristianos de cualquier época, desechar las cuestiones necias e insensatas para evitar contiendas y poder ser amable para con todos, además de ser apto para enseñar, soportando todas las adversidades que sobre vendrán por causa del Evangelio. También nosotros somos probados todos los días en nuestro amor, bondad, gracia y misericordia hacia nuestro prójimo en situaciones, que Dios mismo permite para crecer y madurar nuestra fe en Cristo Jesús.
El discípulo del Señor, deberá llevar por el Espíritu de Dios que habita en él, este testimonio junto con el mensaje del Evangelio por todo rincón de la tierra sin importar las dificultades y adversidades que se le presenten en el día a día de su caminar cristiano. Por experiencia propia todos nosotros los que testificamos de Cristo, sabemos que muchas personas quieren desatar polémica y manejar lo santo y espiritual, como algo común y corriente, menospreciando la Santidad de Jesús, su deidad, su amor hacia toda la humanidad, su sacrificio, su muerte en la cruz y su resurrección de los muertos que nos da la oportunidad de vivir eternamente en los cielos con Él.
De ahí que la Escritura nos advierte no caer en estas trampas y juego de palabras, pues solamente serán un engaño que viene de las tinieblas y estaremos desperdiciando nuestro tiempo y nuestra vida con estos argumentos que no edifican, ni permiten que se establezca el reino de los cielos en los corazones de los posibles nuevos creyentes. ¿Cuántas veces has pasado por esto en tu caminar cristiano? Pídele a Dios que la llenura del Espíritu Santo en ti y la vida resucitada de Jesús pongan palabras que traigan fe, esperanza, amor y vida a todos los que te escuchen, para que así como un día nosotros fuimos ganados para Cristo, también muchas personas sean ganadas por tu testimonio para el Reino eterno de Jesús. (2 Timoteo 2:25-26). Aleluya.
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient.

World changer: Let us remember what the book of Proverbs says: he who is with the wise, wise will be, but he who is with the foolish will be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). So Apostle Paul gives Timothy and all the christians of any time, to throw away foolish things to avoid fights so we can be nice with everybody, besides being able to teach, bearing all adversities that will come because of the Gospel. We are being proved every day in our love, kindness, grace and mercy towards our neighbor in situations that God Himself allows to grow and mature our faith in Christ Jesus.
The disciple of the Lord will take by the Spirit of God that dwells in him this testimony along with the message of the Gospel to every corner of the earth no matter the difficulties and trials that come in the day by day of his or her christian walk. By own experience, all of us that testify of Christ know that many people want to unleash controversy and to take the holy and spiritual like something common, disparaging the Holiness of Jesus, His deity, His love for all mankind, His sacrifice and death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead that gives us the opportunity to live eternally in heaven with Him.
From this, the Scripture warns us not to fall in these traps and game of words, because it only will be a lie that comes from darkness and we will be wasting our time in our life with these arguments that not build, nor allow to establish the kingdom of heaven in the hearts of future new believers. How many times have you been through this in your christian walk? Ask God that the fullness of the Holy Spirit in you and the risen life of Jesus may put words that bring faith, hope, love and life to everyone that listen to you, so just as we were won one day for Christ, also many people may be won by your testimony for the eternal Kingdom of Jesus (2 Timothy 2:25-26).
