Vosotros que en otro tiempo no erais pueblo, pero que ahora sois pueblo de Dios; que en otro tiempo no habíais alcanzado misericordia, pero ahora habéis alcanzado misericordia.

Cambiador del Mundo: Debemos de regocijarnos que ahora somos declarados Hijos y pueblo especial de Dios, pues en otro tiempo no lo éramos sino que estábamos en tinieblas y alejados de nuestra Ciudadanía en los cielos sin haber alcanzado la misericordia de Dios la que ahora disfrutamos en abundancia.
Si nos detenemos un momento en nuestras vidas, y somos sinceros con nuestro Creador, nos daremos cuenta que nuestra vida era una verdadera y triste pesadilla de la que no podíamos despertar, en todas las áreas: sin relación con Dios, con una familia destruida, con una pésima economía y mayordomía, con una visión egoísta de la vida, donde solo nos importaba nuestros propios beneficios, sin esperanza y sin un destino que nos dirigiera hacia el propósito eterno de Dios.
Todo lo que hacíamos estaba enfocado en el “Yo” y en los placeres y deleites temporales de este mundo, aun que pasáramos por encima de las vidas de nuestros familiares y amigos, puesto que no conocíamos nada acerca del amor de Jesucristo y por lo tanto, solo vivíamos para auto-satisfacernos.
Si algunos pensamos que no éramos así, felicidades quizá eres el único en el mundo que sin Cristo fue bueno, pero la verdad es que ninguno es bueno sino solamente Jesús y Dios Su Padre (Lucas 18:18-19).
Indudablemente que el primer día que nos presentaron el Evangelio, y nos mostraron lo mal que estábamos, todos reaccionamos así, al equivocadamente sentirnos buenos, queriendo justificar el porque de nuestra vida, pero gracias a Dios por el Espíritu Santo que nos dio convicción de pecado (Juan 16:8-13) y nos permitió arrepentirnos y confesar a Jesús como Nuestro Señor y Salvador alcanzando Su gracia, amor, y misericordia que tanta falta nos hacía y que llenó todo el vacío en nuestros corazones que por toda una vida nunca había sucedido sino hasta el día que entró a nosotros como Dios, Rey y Señor, (Romanos 10:8-13) Aleluya.
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:10
World Changer: We must rejoice now that we are declared Children and special people of God, because in other times we were not but we were in darkness and away of our Citizenship in heaven without having reached the mercy of God, the one that we are enjoying now abundantly.
If we stop for a moment in our lives and we are sincere with our Creator, we will realize that our lives were a sad nightmare from which we could not wake up, in all areas: without a relationship with God, with a destroyed family, bad economy and stewardship, with a selfish vision of life, where all that mattered were our own benefits, without hope and without a destiny that would lead us to the eternal purpose of God.
All we did was to be focused in the «Self» and the pleasures and temporary delights of this world, even if we went over the lives of our families and friends, because we did not know anything about the love of Jesuschrist and therefore, we only lived to be self satisfied.
If some of us thought we were not like this, congratulations, maybe you are the only one in this world that without Christ was good, but truly, no one is good only Jesus and God His Father (Luke 18:18-19).
No doubt, that the first day we were introduced to the Gospel and they showed us how bad we were, we all reacted this way, when we wrongly felt good, wanting to justify the reason of our life, but thanks to God for the Holy Spirit that gave us conviction of sin (John 16:8-13) and allowed us to repent and confess Jesus as Our Lord and Saviour reaching His grace, love and mercy that we needed for so long and that filled all the emptiness in our hearts that for a whole life it had never happened until the day He entered in us as God, King and Lord (Romans 10:8-13) Hallelujah.
